How To Know If A Tarot Card Reader Or A Psychic Is A Fake
As more and more people are starting to discover their spiritual nature, more are also falling prey to traditional “spiritual” scams.
There are, in fact, many people on this earth that have true psychic abilities. And yes, quite a few are Tarot Card Readers or Psychics who might be able to offer you some help and guidance to questions you have about your future.
But just as there are legitimate ones, there are also many scam artists as well. If you are thinking about, or are currently seeing a Psychic or Tarot Card Reader, be sure to watch for the following danger signs that indicate they might be a scammer.
A Tarot Card Reader or Psychic should never tell you that you have a curse on you or some kind of dark sinister energy around you that only they can get rid of for a certain price. This is one of the biggest scams in the book and has caused thousands of people thousands of dollars. If you hear anything like this run for the hills!
The same goes for telling you that you need to buy a certain good luck charm or that they can predict winning lottery numbers for you at a certain price. (Obviously, if they knew the lucky numbers they could simply play them for themselves and would not need your money.) It is perfectly fine if a Tarot Card Reader or Psychic has a display of lucky charms or healing crystals for you to peruse with the option to buy. As long as there is no sales pressure whatsoever by telling you it is something that you need to have.
A psychic or tarot card reader should never tell you what decision to make. They should only read the options they feel might surround you and your situation. When you leave the session you should simply be feeling more empowered to make the decision for yourself, not compelled to follow their advice or be doomed.
They should never tell you that they can make something happen for you. Quite simply only you can do that.
They should never tell you that they are willing to put a curse on someone or that they can in any way make someone else do what you want them to. Again free-will comes into play here. Just as you can’t make someone do what they don’t want to do, neither can a psychic or tarot card reader. Besides, having bad will towards a person just brings bad karma. Remember what goes around, comes around.
Watch out for the egotistical know-it-all psychic. The one who seems to act superior to you or acts like they know better than you do. For example, if they were to say something that hit a chord with you and you said “You know, you may be right,” and they respond with an “Of coarse I’m right!” it’s time to look for someone else. A person with true spiritual or psychic abilities has no reason to be condescending or intimidating towards you, because a true talent knows they have nothing to prove. Also, a truly gifted person will be the first to tell you that they don’t always have all of the answers all of the time.
Don’t fall for scams that are sent in the mail or sent by email. They fall into the same category as chain letters and have no credibility whatsoever. You might receive something that states that they “know” you are having trouble with money, your love life or that you are currently “dissatisfied” with your current circumstances. Unfortunately that universal description fits many people and they are just hoping for a few lucky hits.
Do not ever send money by email or over the phone to a source you do not trust. Always check the Better Business Bureau or Scam websites to see if the source requesting money has had any major complaints against them.
Most of all, listen to your instincts! Your gut will tell you when someone or something just doesn’t feel right. You should never leave a reader feeling fear or with the pressure to do something that doesn’t feel right to you.
There really are genuine people out there. Simply take your time and shop around until you find the one that does feel right to you.
